Who is the guy?
Born in Ioannina of Greece in 1978.
Received the Diploma in Electrical and
Computing Engineering of National Technical University of Athens in 2001.
Received the MBA in Technoeconomic
Systems in the Department of Electrical and Computing Engineers of the National Technical University of Athens in 2004.
Received the PhD degree in "Resource
Allocation and Performance Analysis of Broadband Networks based on the IEEE
802.11 standards" from the Department of Information and Communication
Systems Engineers of the University of Aegean in 2005.
Worked as a research associate at the Telecommunications Lab of the National
Technical University of Athens between 2001 and 2004, designing broadband
optical / wireless military networks.
Worked as an
associate at
the Hellenic Authority for the
Information and Communication Security and Privacy (ADAE) during the year
of 2004, specifying security regulations /requirements for the telecommunication
operators in Greece.
Worked as network administrator and networking solutions consultant in KINTEC Electronic Security Systems LTD from 2004 to 2005.
Between 2006 and 2008 he worked as
a research associate at the University of Aegean in the area of radio resource management
(RRM) in heterogeneous wireless networks, and as a
adjunct lecturer at the Technological
Educational Instutute (TEI) of Athens, department of Informatics.
Worked as a supervisor of the IT
department of the Cooperative Bank of Epirus in Greece between 2008 and 2009.
Worked as a research associate at the TEI of Athens and TEI of Epirus (former
University of Western Athens and University of Ioannina respectively),
where he participated in various national-funded projects.
Between
2009 and 2015 he
was the supervisor of the Waste Water
Treatment Plant of the city of Preveza in Greece, and the supervisor of the Sites, Quality Control and Enviromental Department of the Municipal Cooperation for Water and Wastewater of Preveza (Greek: ΔΕΥΑΠ).
Between
2009 and 2015 he
was also an adjunct assistant professor at the Department of Informatics Engineer of the TEI of Epirus (former University
of Ioannina), where he teached the lessons of Broadband Networks, Mobile Networks,
Wireless Links, Telecommunication
Networks II and Satellite
Communications.
Since 2016 he works as an Electrical
Engineer at the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator (Greek: ΔΕΔΔΗΕ). Since 2021 he is the supervisor of the Operation
division for the regions of Arta, Preveza and Lefkada.
Since 2002 he is a member of the technical chamber of Greece.
His current professional activities
include Development of web applications and mobile applications, Development of
SCADA systems, Design and setup of wired, wireless and mobile networks,
Computer and network administration, Design of industrial automation systems
for process optimization and control, Design of domestic and industrial
electrical installations, Implementation of environmental impact assessment
studies and feasibility studies for small and medium scale industries.
His current research interests are in the fields of quality of service, resource allocation and performance analysis of wireless access networks.
